Dr. Appointment 2

We just got back from our second appointment with Dr. Goldman, and we got to hear the baby's heart beat. Dana thought it was going to be way cooler than it was - it was basically just a microphone and a speaker that the doctor moved around til she heard something. Dana apologized to me about 100 times in 10 minutes after we left for making me come with her, but it's ok. I was glad to get out of work for an hour, and it was nice to hear the heartbeat and know everything is still going well. Dana has done some searching about predicting the sex of the baby based on the heart rate, and found that if it's below 150 it's supposed to be a boy, and above 150 it's supposed to be a girl. Well, it looks like we have a little stinker on our hands already... the heart rate was 150 :)

Next appointment will be June 22, for just another quick checkup. July 19 is the next big appointment, for the 20-week ultrasound.
